Azienda Agricola Le Volpi triumphs at the 23rd EnoConegliano Regional Wine Competition.

On 15 and 16 July, at the Dama Castellana Association in Conegliano, the 23rd EnoConegliano Regional Wine Competition was held, a competition authorised and sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

On this occasion, 493 samples were analysed, presented by 169 Veneto-based companies. An exceptional result was achieved by Azienda Agricola Le Volpi, which presented four wines and obtained two absolute first places and two diplomas of merit.

Azienda Agricola Le Volpi has therefore enhanced the prestige of wine production in the Euganean Hills by obtaining important acknowledgement for the overall quality of its organic wines with thePremio Speciale “Carlo Miconi”, awarded to the wine farm with the highest overall score for the three best wines in at least two different categories.

The award-winning wines are:

DAMA D’ORO AWARD – 1st PLACE

  • Le Volpi, 36 Mesi Merlot Colli Euganei DOC 2015

Dama D’Oro Award in the still red wine category with designation of origin made in 2017 or in previous years.

  • Le Volpi, Fior d’Ape Fior d’Arancio Spumante Dolce DOCG 2019

Dama D’Oro Award in the sparkling wine category with designation of origin demi-sec and sweet wines made by fermentation in tanks (Martinotti method).

Diploma of merit for Le Volpi, 8 Mesi Cabernet Colli Euganei DOC 2019 and Le Volpi, Manzoni Bianco Colli Euganei DOC 2019.
