THE EXHIBITION
An exhibition of photos by Silvia Camporesi at the MLB Maria Livia Brunell. The photo series is a poetic collection of uninhabited villages, industrial archaeologies and dilapidated architecture based on a search for fragments from the past. The idea is not to denounce but rather look for vestiges of the past, which still show traces of lives that were lived, in order to compare and reflect on the present with a view to imagining the future. At one time, artists went to discover Roman ruins. Today, Silvia Camporesi searches for contemporary ruins to observe the passage of time
